over 20 years JB Ranch has been teaching
concentrated
horsemanship classes specifically geared for the Girl Scouts in
all respects of the requirements to earn
Horse Fan,
Horse Sense, and Horse Rider badges. The horses used are well
trained seasoned horses. Their background comes from use for horse
camps, lessons,
and motion picture work. We
also provide for your convince,
certified safety head gear
Upon completion of any program a JB ranch certificate and
souvenir will be awarded to the girls.

Horse Camp for
Children:
Tired of watching your children
spend their time off sitting at home, watching TV?
Well, why not send them down to JB
Ranch to learn how to ride and take care of a variety of horses. That's
right, JB Ranch is offering five day horse camps. The camp will be both
a learning experience, and a lot of fun.

After the first day the child is expected to be able to catch and
groom the horse assigned to him/her. Our wranglers will teach them
skills in:

Proper horse management
-
Shoeing
-
Proper saddling
-
Safety
-
Basic riding skills
-
Bridling a horse
-
Grooming
-
Good horsemanship
-
Feeding

| Each day of the camp will be made
up of three hours either in the morning or in the afternoon. The first
day will basically cover the ground rules as far as catching and grooming the
horse.
|
Children are required to come dressed in
pants and closed toe shoes. This is for the safety of the
children. Safety riding head gear is provided. Prices are $200
per week session. Daily rate $50 per day. Additional
hours available. To hold a reservation a $50 deposit (per child) is
